Some two dozen Lafayette High School students traveled to Mobile, Alabama, for the 75th annual Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC). Their student-devised play “Cardboard Stories: Some Assembly Required” placed third overall among 18 schools competing (the top two from nine states). Other Lafayette honors included:
In addition, the 11 juniors and seniors who participated in college auditions and technical theatre interviews during the conference received:
“We are so proud of these students and all of their hard work over the past eight months that culminated in much joy, celebration, and success,” said theatre teacher and director Amie Dunn Kisling.
