Lafayette girls' wrestling team with trophies and coaches

The Lafayette High girls’ wrestling team defended their title with valiant efforts in the 2026 KHSAA State Wrestling Championships at the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena. Coached by William Green, two weight-class champions paved the way for the Generals: Amy Velasco and Elene Niyogushima. Henry Clay High also produced a winner in Sianni Appolon. Congratulations to all!
